Supply Chain Manager Leading the supply function, the Supply Chain Manager will develop the strategic direction of the supply chain. As a key member of a small management team, this manager will have a hands-on role and will be responsible for the sourcing, purchasing, scheduling and inventory planning functions. Will manage 2 buyers * Responsible for supplier performance, management quality, service and cost * Insure proactive scheduling to maximize customer service and manage inventory. * Manage and execute contractual agreements * Generate and present key supply chain metrics * Maximize supply chain flexibility while minimizing risk * Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for improving supply chain performance * Develop material and outside sources and strategies that provide improved results for the company Minimum Experience Required: * Bachelors degree * 7+ years managing a supply chain department ( purchasing, planning and inventory) * Demonstrated expertise in managing supplier agreements for a machining manufacturing operation * Highly experience with MRP/ERP systems * Strong analytical and negotiation skills * Background in precision machining is a significant plus * Proficiency with ERP, MS and Access * Lean and six sigma experience Location: Medford / Melrose area Relocation is not an option Compensation: Into the low 100’s Posted: July 21, 2010 Contact Leslie Gabriele 2 Emery Road
